Tracking of dual enrollment classes and work-based learning (WBL) opportunities were not part of the original report but are now being tracked intensely.
- Pathway map was presented, showing all K-16 funded programs and the opportunities available to students.
- The Partnership’s work was shared with Full Capacity Marketing to give FCM the ability to tell our story and demonstrate the impact of our work. The report being created by FCM will reflect on the last two years and include milestones, dual enrollment projects and the implementation of recovery with equity goals.
- OPSC has reversed its decision regarding additional funding ($497k) for the Collaboratives across the state.
- Update provided regarding the industry engagement work group and their efforts to promote work-based learning across the region. The group is focusing on job shadows as an introductory step to work-based learning, with plans for a job shadow week in February 2025. Job Shadow Week aims to connect businesses with education and host job shadow opportunities, with support from local chambers of commerce.
