Upskilling Paraprofessionals to Become Teachers at Fresno State

The Summer Institute was the creation of Fresno State Dean of Kremen School of Education & Human Development Randy Yerrick and his colleagues to design a contextualized learning experience to learn how to teach math for the Fresno K16 Collaborative cohort of paraprofessional who are currently working in schools of diverse communities who have expressed interest in math, physics,and biology and have also worked within the educational system and would like to complete teacher certification at Fresno State.

UMass Global (formerly Brandman University)

The University of Massachusetts Global (UMass Global) has been active in participating in the Accounting Pathway Working Groups and meeting with Collaborative partners to strengthen and establish intersegmental partnerships.  UMASS has been working to offer dual enrollment opportunities for upskilling to both adult learners and high school students.
